The Most Progressive Rain Policy Available

Establishing what happens when it rains is easy, when life is clearly black and white. But it never is, is it? Therefore, Genesis has implemented the most progressive rain policy ou there, advocating on behalf of our groups to do what's ethically best. How do we do it? We do it by having solid policies in place, by being proactive in our tracking and communications with both golfers and golf courses. But most importantly, by having an Emergency Manager on Duty line service in place to handle just this.

Genesis provides the confidence to book a trip, regardless of "April Shower" fairy tales and know that your investment is not lost. Genesis Golf Trips offers the most progressive rain policy on the East Coast. While rain checks may work for local golfers, with plenty of opportunity to utilize it before it expires, that doesn’t work so well for traveling golfers. While Genesis customers can always opt for the course Rain Check if its more to your benefit, usually the Genesis Rain Credit is the best way to go. Unlike golf course rain checks, a Genesis rain credit is valid for 4 years and can be applied to any golf trip that you organize with Genesis for up to 4 years. Please note, however that much of the authority in making this decision will come from the golf courses, but we will advocate all that we can.

So what do you do with a Genesis Rain credit? Is it doubtful you will go away again in 4 years? No worries, given our expansive presence in so many markets, there may be a local course that your group will want to play together to use up the credit. Note, the credit is a group credit and not valid directly at the courses. It requires Genesis notification and involvement. For example, if the total value of your group round was $1000, then that full value will be available to you to use for a future trip (assuming the course approved being closed or the rain credit being issued with questionable issues). Add in our Emergency Manager on Duty (EMOD) service to advocate for you during inclement weather, and there is NO RISK for your group to take an early spring or late fall trip. We’ve got you covered!
