Designed by golf legend Gary Player, River Run takes full advantage of its spectacular landscape to surprise and delight you again and again. The golf course is sometimes called a "tale of two nines" with its open front nine that has a Scottish links flavor and the back nine which is a tighter layout that winds through the rolling terrain and magnificent pines to test the best player in you.The course is fair for the beginner, but is certainly no walk in the park for the scratch player. The greens are medium sized and not especially difficult, the fairways are generous from the tee and modestly bunkered. There are a few lakes and marshy areas to avoid All 18 holes work together to provide the most diverse and satisfying golf experience imaginable. |
